Engineered Nonlinear Optical Materials for Quantum Science Applications
KTP FOR TYPE I & II SHG AND DOWN CONVERSION

The mission of AdvR is to use ferroelectric materials to solve critical photonic needs. The emerging fields of quantum information science and quantum sensing require reliable, high fidelity, single photons to assure full potential achievement.

AdvR is a pioneer in both bulk and waveguide poled materials. Using KTP, extremely promising Type I and Type II SHG as well as degenerate Type I and Type II down conversion promising results have been obtained. These single photon efforts have been enabled through the use of AdvR’s patent pending non-lithographic poling technology and significant experience in engineering nonlinear optical materials.


Second harmonic frequency (SHG) conversion examples

1310 nm <--> 655 nm
1064 nm <--> 532 nm
800 nm <--> 400 nm

Down conversion examples

- Degenerate type I
  532 nm --> 1064 nm + 1064 nm
- Non-degenerate type I
  532 nm --> 800m + 1600 nm
- Degenerate type I
  658.5 nm --> 1317 nm + 1317 nm
- Degenerate type II
  658.5 nm --> 1317 nm + 1317 nm
